How Healthy Are you Really?

TAKE THE QUIZ

There’s something that I want to tell you. Lately, I’ve been struggling with a couple of things as an entrepreneur, and while you may not be an entrepreneur, I want to share with you a couple of the things that I’ve been struggling with and my plan to course correct.

I hope that some of these strategies will help you in your time of need.

Dilemma #1: I know I need to post on social media, and I want to. However, sometimes, I struggle with that line of being able to say what I need to, when I need and how I want to. Let me explain a little bit further.

I try hard not to have social media on my phone, as I’d like to have more boundaries about when and how I use these social media apps. So I have been experimenting with the best way to post intentionally. It is much more convenient if I post from my phone and not my iPad. The struggle of trying to refrain from redownloading Instagram + Facebook on my phone is real.

My plan: Find, create, and stick to a social media strategy. Write in my Full Focus planner when exactly I plan to post that is aligned with what I want to share that day.

Dilemma #2: My brand literally has the word sunshine in the word, and a major characteristic is positivity, and I love that. AND I also sometimes don’t always feel so bubbly, more so in the middle, and so I struggle with showing up when I’m in these “middle” moods. I struggle with this because I genuinely don’t want to bring anyone down.

My plan: Be honest and strategic about how I feel and felt. Stick to my goal of when I want to post.

Dilemma #3: Entrepreneurship is lonely AF. Every entrepreneur I hear on podcasts or in courses says this a lot, and it’s true. When juggling multiple hats in and out of your business (my 9 to 5 job), not including personal responsibilities it can feel like you are not gaining traction. It also feels suuuuuuper lonely.

My plan: Schedule a call with my business coach. Find a community of female entrepreneurs. If I can’t find one that I click with, I’ll entertain the idea of starting one.

My question for you is…have you been struggling with something recently? And if so, what’s your plan to work through it?

Now I’m not going to note the less than ideal sides of entrepreneurship without highlighting a few positives. Here are some of my favorite things about being an entrepreneur at this moment.

I love the ability to do what I love and I love working with my amazing clients.

I love being able to help people accomplish their goals. This is kinda related to the point above.

I love the endless opportunities that have come my way as a result of starting my business and the opportunities that will come.

I love being creative.

I love being able to define my own version of success and what that looks like for me in this season of my life and business.

Now, my question to you is, what have you been going through and what’s your plan to work through it?
